Maarten F. Weber, DVM, DBR, MSc, PhD, DipECBHM, DipECVPH

"I do feel a strong affinity with our mission statement: "teaming up for animal health, in the interest of animals, their owners and society at large". In fact, my focal point has gradually shifted over the years, from an initial focus on the individual animal, through the herd and individual farmer, to a focus on the interests of the agricultural industry and society at large. At all levels, it is pivotal that we produce healthy foods from healthy animals. Thus, contributing to the control of potentially zoonotic infections is rewarding indeed."
